Commish Note 22-05 Rule Change Results

All, here are the results for the rule changes that required votes

1. For contract restructuring the following has been passed. c. Proposal 3: Contract Restructuring before the season costs $1, in season costs $3 for every $10 moved. Deadline is trade deadline. (This is my preferred proposal as there should be a higher penalty for obvious salary dumps in season. That is I want to encourage people to spend money rather than save it for a salary move)

2. Defense point changes have been approved

3. Franchise players lose their franchise status after week 8. This basically allows you to have two franchise players on your team through trades assuming you have the cap space.

4. No change to when Franchise Players are designated. (Still the same as the free agent signing period).

That's it for the voting rules. As always, you can start a ground roots effort to change any rule.

I am now going into the official rules and making edits which will go to Brian for review once I get the first draft complete. I'll then publish a new version with changes in red...because I know last years champ will want to very carefully review all changes to ensure compliance!
